If you are looking for a quick and easy Halloween decoration to add to your place this year. This little floating ghost garland might just be the thing. It’s so adorable and easy to make and will add some extra whimsy to your Halloween decorations. It looks great in a window or on a fireplace, on a long piece of driftwood or even on your dining room chandelier.
All you really need for this DIY project is some thin white fabric, I used some leftover thrifted lace fabric that might have been a curtain at some point, some cotton balls, pretty twine, scissors and a black marker. This little ghost garland comes together pretty quickly and it’s a great project to make with kids.
You can add some string lights, different coloured ribbons or beads to the mix or leave it plain and white and let the shimmery lace be the star like I did this time. I used some white and gold twine and drew little eyes and mouths with marker on the ghosts as faces. If you don’t have any fabric at hand, you can also make them with tissues.

Try to space out your ghosts evenly on your twine.
Enjoy the creative process just as much as the end result. Let go of any fixed ideas and be open to incorporate new materials or some you might already have at home.
